I'll Pay for the Lettuce

I am loving the argument that the price of veggies would skyrocket if we enforced our immigration laws. So, we should be glad we are paying less than market value for vegatables on the backs of human beings who are being exploited by employers who don't pay the minimun wage, benefits, or overtime? And this is the idea of the compassionate left?

Let's let people come here legally and get paid what they should and then let's pay what we should for our products. Don't worry, it'll all come out in the wash once our medical rates, taxes, and crime rates go down. I'll betcha all that taxpayer funded education and welfare is costing us way more than we're giaining in tomato savings.

Everybody deserves fair wages, especially hard-working immigrants who have busted their butts to legally go after the American dream.

Hey don't you have any compassion? I mean those People are only coming to this country because they are trying to make life better then where they came from. Even if they make less than minimum wage, it must be more then they make in Mexico, and now we are planning to build a big Highway to help them all come here. Ain't this a great country.

Hope your family is doing well.

(Hey I thought you didn't like the verification stuff LOL)
